So, here’s what I’ve done that will ultimately help you improve whether you’re a beginner or tour player (I’ve worked with everyone!) Over 15 years in golf, not just improving students but also improving my own knowledge with consistent personal development as a coach and player (when I can!). So if it’s technical knowledge explained simply, you’re looking in the right place. However, a lot of new students I meet have tried this and are still not improving. Usually because they haven’t been taught how to train! Skill development will be a big factor when we work together. My multi sport background played a large part (including previously a Brentford FC Academy Coach) and also my role as a coaching consultant for UK Coaching. Developing coaches across a number of sports. This led me into golf, seeing how far behind golf coaching was (especially with juniors) made me think I could make a big difference! I’m also a Surrey County Coach with a sports science degree and more coaching awards than playing awards (thats good news for you!) Still following Spurs (COYS!) and keeping an eye out for Croatia to finally build a course in Dubrovnik. |
